CONCRETE PLACEMENT BOOM END HOSE
The Avon Safety Hose is a concrete placement boom end hose used on truck and mobile pumps at point of placement. It facilitates work by absorbing shocks and vibrations, making concrete pumping operations safer while guaranteeing high abrasion resistance.

During use, hoses can behave in unpredictable ways. For instance, the sudden release of clogged material or the presence of air in the pipes can cause significant lateral bending and dangerous vibrations that result in hose whip. The Avon Safety Hose is specially designed to considerably reduce hose whip; synthetic fiber reinforcements are embedded at specifically calculated angles based on the internal diameter of the hose. By avoiding hose whip, the Avon Safety Hose reduces the risk of accidents and makes boom pumping operations much safer for any operator handling the hose.

HOSE VALVE: AIR CUFF
AIR CUFF HOSE SHUT OFF VALVE SAFELY STOP THE FLOW OF CONCRETE REMOTELY & REDUCE THE CHANCE OF HOSE WHIP Air Cuff Hose Shut Off Valve manages spills and stops flow by collapsing the end hose from the outside using an inflatable bladder. This action also helps stop air from getting trapped inside the pipeline, which reduces the chance for hose whip. Controlled by either remote control or integration with the pump's control circuit. For use on all boom trucks and placing booms.
WORKS IN TWO WAYS AUTOMATIC: Connects to the concrete pumps control box to automatically stop the flow of concrete when the pump stops running. The Air Cuff automatically closes when pump is in OFF position and opens when the pump is in ON position or in reverse pumping mode for clean-out.
